This is a hill-focused itinerary, rather than the more common Kerala circuit that combines Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey backwaters and beaches. Kerala Tourism's own sample 7N/8D itineraries also include Munnar and Thekkady, while Vagamon and Wayanad offer a more hill-and-nature-oriented experience.
